"Shilangge" is a compound word

combining the Jeolla-do dialect suffix "~rangge"

(used for friendly emphasis/suggestion) and the German word

"Lange," which means "for a long time."

It carries our heartfelt wish for you to rest (Shi) for a long time (Lange) in Suncheon.
