You can admire both the sunset and the sunrise whether you are inside the room or sitting on the wooden veranda (maru).
When standing in the courtyard, it is a wide-open place that offers a panoramic view of Suncheon Bay at a single glance. Just gazing out at the sea will naturally bring peace and comfort to your mind.

Q : What is the story behind the beginning of this space?
A : This accommodation is run by host Kim Hwang-suk. Located on a scenic hill in Waon Village, it was built with the desire to provide a spacious and private getaway for travelers who want to immerse themselves in nature. We wanted to design a peaceful retreat where families and loved ones could escape the crowded city and fully recharge their minds.
Q : Where was the spot you first envisioned, and where is the place your heart lingers the most even now?
A : The outdoor terrace and the garden overlooking the coastal landscape are the most cherished spots. Guests love sitting outside to feel the cool breeze and watch the changing colors of the sky during dusk. We put extra care into making the interior spacious, clean, and warm, ensuring that large groups or families can stay comfortably without any inconvenience.
Q : I'm curious about the story embedded in this place and the values you want to convey.
A : The core value we want to deliver is "a spacious, undisturbed rest." Because our house stands on a hill, it naturally catches the open wind and offers a wide-open view of the horizon. We want our guests to let go of their heavy thoughts here, absorb the vastness of nature, and experience a refreshing mental clarity.

A : It is highly recommended for families traveling with children or elderly parents, as well as friends who want to share a quiet, private evening together. Anyone who appreciates the beauty of a coastal sunset, the tranquility of a secluded hill, and a generous countryside atmosphere will find complete comfort and healing here.
Q : Are there any special places around the accommodation or unique to this area?
A : The walking path leading down from the hill directly toward the Waon beach is truly beautiful. Strolling around the quiet village early in the morning or right as the sun begins to dip below the horizon offers a deeply peaceful experience. We always encourage our guests to catch the sunset from our garden vantage point first, then walk down to feel the coastal tide up close.
Q : Were there any challenges you faced while preparing or running this accommodation?
A : Because the property is located on a hill, maintaining the expansive outdoor garden and landscaping to look pristine through every season requires constant physical labor. Ensuring that the interior remains flawlessly cozy against the strong coastal winds also took a lot of structural care during the setup. It can be exhausting, but when families express how much they loved the freedom of having the whole hill to themselves, it makes us incredibly proud.

A : It is operated directly by myself with a warm, welcoming heart. My family also provides a strong backbone, helping out with the extensive yard maintenance, gardening, and heavy tasks whenever needed. We manage this hill sanctuary together to ensure it stays a beautiful, comforting haven for every traveler.
